5 Skincare Gadgets Celebrities are using for Flawless Skin

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven’t been online for a few days. So busy, busy, busy lately. But now I am back!

Something I was reading over the last week that I found interesting was some of the things the celebrities are now using to take care of their skin. I mean, I guess it makes sense, right? Sometimes lotions, serums and creams aren’t enough. You need that extra lift, and in 2017, it only makes sense that technology is often part of that regime. But… I gotta say. Am I the only one that thinks these machines look a little too much like… toys… you know, of the adult variety?

This is an eye massager just in case you got the wrong idea.

Anyway, here are 5 of the latest technologies celebrities are swearing by in 2017 to look flawless in front of the camera!

Light Therapy

Jessica Alba swears by it. I can’t argue with the results. Celebrity facial therapist Shani Darden says it is one of the best ways to combat aging. The LED light kills acne causing bacteria, and the treatment boosts the production of collagen. You also get to wear a wierd mask that makes you look like a sexier version of Iron Man. That last bit is what get’s me most excited.

Radio Waves

Used by Victoria Beckham, radio wave therapy uses radio waves to deeply massage your skin. It’s basically a really gentle and relaxing warm facial massage via, what seems like telekenesis. This triggers the production of collagen in the deeper layers of skin. I wonder if I can’t just stick my face next to the radio in the car…

Ultrasound Therapy

Studies have shown that most of what you’re using doesn’t actually penetrate your skin. Ultrasound therapy aims to solve that. Using 300,000 ultrasound waves per second, it basically pummels your skincare through to the deepest layers of your skin.

Eye Massagers

You know the time you went to some Asian massage place and they tapped your eyes? Yeah, this is supposed to be something like that, except it’s using robot fingers! If used regularly its supposed to minimize the appearance of crows feet and eye bags.

Microcurrent Therapy

Sounds like electrocuting your face. And it is… But it doesn’t feel as bad as it sounds. Basically, tiny electrical currents are pumped into your skin. It feels a bit tingly, but essentially what happens is your facial muscles are being tightened, which gives you a much more toned appearance! Great for after long night outs, but make sure you apply it to a hydrated face, or it won’t conduct.

That’s it for this post! Let me know what other new crazy fandangled skincare gadgets you’ve seen floating around in the comments below!
